i remember the day so clearly, although it must have been twelve years ago now.  i was at the baseball diamond in sprucedale.  i was too young to be playing ball out in the field with my brother and sister.  i was not far from where my mother sat, cheering them on.  i could have cared less about the game then.  i was hunting in the clover patches.  i was set on proving to everyone that four leaf clovers exist and that i could find one. when i brought it to my mother, she thought it was a trick at first.  she thought i had ripped a leaf off of another clover and was holding it there.  but when she took it in her hand, she knew it was the real
